China Adoption

VILLA HOPE IS AN ACCREDITED INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION AGENCY WITH THE CHINA CENTER OF ADOPTION AFFAIRS (CCAA).

Children available for placement through the China adoption program include infants, toddlers, older children, and children with special needs. Most babies are 9-12 months at referral. Almost all referrals are female children.

Typical waiting time for a referral of a child could be up to 3 years from the receipt of the dossier at CCAA in Beijing. Parents will receive travel permission approximately one month after acceptance of the child and travel a few weeks later. One or both parents must travel to China to finalize the adoption. Parents must remain in China approximately 2 weeks. Families travel in a group with an English-speaking guide.

Married applicants between the ages of 30 and 50 may adopt from China. Applicants MUST be at 30 years old when dossier is submitted and have fewer than 5 minor children. Household annual income must be at least $30,000 plus $10,000 for each child currently in the home.
